This project is pending final permits and is expected to begin in the fall.
In early 2024, winter storms caused significant coastal erosion to the bluffs along Shoreline Park. Temporary fencing was installed for public safety while the Parks and Recreation Department developed plans for a longer-term solution.
The Shoreline Park Fence and Pathway Relocation project will relocate 620 linear feet of blufftop fencing and 1,200 square feet of concrete pathway inland away from the receding bluff.
Work is expected to begin in the fall. Closures will only occur in project areas and will not impact normal park operations.
