Summer Fun Recreation Program
The Parks and Recreation Department’s popular Summer Fun program provides recreation activities, sports, crafts, and special programs for children entering 1st - 6th grades.
Participants in Summer Fun will enjoy 7-weeks filled with games, crafts, enrichment activities, sports, and the opportunity to participate in field trips, theme days, and more! Summer Fun has between 8-11 program leaders and one site director with a staff to student ratio of 1:20. Students interested in attending field trips that involve an admission fee, such as the Zoo or batting cages, will be required to bring money.
Please note: Children must attend the Summer Fun Recreation Program a minimum of 3-days per week to remain eligible for the program. Exceptions due to illness, emergencies, or participation in a camp scholarship administered by PAL may be considered.
