Two Free Holiday Concerts for All to Enjoy this December

The City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department and the PARC Foundation are bringing the community together this holiday season with two free concerts at recently renovated City Landmarks, the Plaza del Mar Band Shell and the Alameda Park Bandstand. These family-friendly events are perfect for all ages and offer a festive way to enjoy live music in Santa Barbara’s beautiful outdoor spaces.

Sunday, December 8 | Plaza del Mar Band Shell | 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Kick off the holidays with a singalong at the Plaza del Mar Band Shell featuring the Santa Barbara Strummers. The concert will include popular holiday songs and carols. Songbooks with lyrics will be provided so everyone can sing along!

Thursday, December 12 | Alameda Park Bandstand | 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Celebrate the season with a lunchtime performance by the Treble Clef Women’s Chorus at the Alameda Park Bandstand. Enjoy a mix of uplifting songs and traditional holiday favorites in the heart of one of Santa Barbara’s oldest parks.

Both concerts are free and open to the public, and attendees are welcome to bring picnics, blankets, and chairs to enjoy the show. Alcohol is not allowed at these family-friendly events.
