The Adapted Recreation Program gives people with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy recreation and leisure activities in a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment. Our programs encourage participants to have fun, learn new skills, stay active, and connect with others.

Admission Free for TCRC Participants

If you have been approved by Tri-Counties Regional Center (TCRC) for Social Recreation Services, you may be eligible for FREE admission to our program.

Beach Wheelchairs

Beach Wheelchair at the Beach

The City of Santa Barbara offers two beach wheelchairs, one manual and one motorized, free of charge, seven days a week during regular operating hours. Both are available at Cabrillo Pavilion at East Beach. 

Reservations can be made online using the link below. A completed liability waiver and valid ID are required. For assistance, call Cabrillo Pavilion staff at (805) 897-2616.

*The beach wheelchairs were funded through a 2019 grant from the California State Coastal Conservancy.
