Sheffield Reservoir Open Space

What used to be an open-air potable water reservoir is now a walker's delight, hosting several trails among native landscaping, boulders, and views of the foothills. The 2003 Sheffield Reservoir Water Quality Project undergrounded the original reservoir and constructed a 20-acre passive open space above that returns the site to its oak woodland and native grasses landscape, incorporating bioswales and walking trails.
