Ortega Park Pool

This free, heated (84°) pool is open seasonally for children 13 and under and their caregivers. All city pools have lifeguards on duty. 

Pool hours are determined by staffing levels, and scheduled to accommodate the hours of highest demand. Want to help us expand our hours? Join our team of pool lifeguards! 

Monday - Friday
10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. - Swim Lessons
12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Recreation Swim
3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. - Swim Lessons

Saturday
12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Recreation Swim

Plans for the Ortega Park Revitalization Project include a new year-round pool that will allow for simultaneous programming including lap swimming, swim lessons, water fitness classes, and various sports, including swim meets. The new community pool design features a wet play/wading pool area, a 25-yard 6-lane pool, and two interactive waterslides.
