Carrillo Recreation Center Founders Room

Located in downtown Santa Barbara within the Carrillo Recreation Center, the Founders Room offers an elegant indoor-outdoor event space. The Founders Room is located adjacent to the historic Carrillo Ballroom and provides a social gathering area for guests of the Ballroom. The Founders Room is included with the reservation of the Ballroom, but can be reserved independently when the Ballroom is not in use. 

Room availability varies based on programming throughout the Carrillo Recreation Center. Same-day walk-in rentals are available at a reduced rate. Contact the front desk at (805) 897-2519 to check availability, receive additional information, or make a reservation.

Pricing and Reservations

Discounted rates are available for City of Santa Barbara residents and non-profits. Proof of residency or 501(c)(3) status is required to receive discounted rates. Day of walk-in rentals are available at a reduced rate.
