Carousel House

Pricing applies Friday-Sunday and holidays. Reservations must occur between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., including event setup and breakdown.

Weekend rates include a 10-hour reservation with the option to purchase up to two additional hours if needed. Reservations include the presence of an event monitor and security guard and post-event cleaning.

Discounted rates are available for City of Santa Barbara residents and non-profits. Proof of residency or 501(c)(3) status is required to receive discounted rates.

A $1,000 non-refundable down payment is required at the time of booking. All reservations are subject to a $1,000 refundable security deposit.

The Carousel House offers flexible catering options, allowing you to bring in vendors of your choice, with a list of local providers available upon request. The venue features an outdoor grilling area with electrical access for onsite cooking or creative food setups. Generous outdoor space allows food truck access to create a fun dining experience for guests. Alcohol service is permitted within the venue and the outdoor plaza.

The Carousel House offers a blank canvas for your entertainment vision, whether you’re planning a DJ set, live band, or film screening. Interior and exterior outlets are available to power speakers, lighting, projectors, and more. Amplified music is permitted until 10:00 p.m.

The Carousel House is truly a blank canvas. With no built-in furniture or decor, you can customize every detail of your event to bring your creative vision to life. Complimentary access to online software to design the layout of your event will be provided. 

The Carousel House offers convenient parking for you and your guests. Paid Parking is available in the Garden Street and Palm Park parking lots directly across the street. Paid parking is first come, first served, or you can make reservations with the City of Santa Barbara’s Waterfront Department Parking Office at (805) 564-5523 or WFParking@SantaBarbaraCA.gov.
