Body

A wisteria arbor will be constructed and installed on the Casa Las Palmas patio overlooking the Chase Palm Park Great Meadow. The steel arbor will provide shade to the Casa Las Palmas patio and beautify the area with additional planters to either side of the stairs leading to the patio. Two ornamental iron gates will be constructed with a plant-like theme. Nighttime lighting will also be improved as a part of this project.

Construction is expected to last through summer 2025. During construction, fencing will surround Casa Las Palmas, the walkway directly around it, and the roundabout. The crosswalk across Cabrillo Boulevard leading to Chase Palm Park will remain open, and an accessible route leading to the Great Meadow will be available during construction.

Restrooms will remain available during construction, with portable toilets provided in the event the restroom building needs to be closed.
